Entries are drawn from everything that arrives by Sunday 18 October and meets the guidelines. Drawn tracks are reviewed and tweaked live by David Yungin Kim.

    Add your details above so the calendar invite and reminders reach you.

  2. 02

    Bounce wet stems

    Print every stem with its processing on: EQ, compression, effects, the lot.

    Max 20 tracks per song. Combine anything over into multi-stems.

    Label them clearly

    Name each file descriptively, so David can drop right in.

    Email your stems

    Send them, or a Dropbox, WeTransfer or Google Drive link, to submit@playhead.fm by Sunday 18 October. Sending means you agree to the terms.

Final date
Final submission for stems is Sunday 18 October 2026. Anything that arrives after that is not entered.
Wet stems
Stems must be wet: bounced with all their processing and effects printed, exactly as they sound in your mix.
20 tracks max
No more than 20 tracks per song. If you have more, combine them into multi-stems (drums, backing vocals, synths and so on).
Clear labels
Label every stem clearly, for example 01 Kick, 02 Bass, 03 Lead vocal.
Big files
Too large to attach? Send a download link instead. We accept Dropbox, WeTransfer and Google Drive links, and similar file-sharing services. Make sure the link is set so anyone with it can download, and that it stays live until after the stream on 20 October.
Keep it clean
Any track that is too explicit or has inappropriate references will not be submitted for review.
